Lillie M. Lindsey was born to the late Jim and Ethel Schoolcraft Lindsey on September 15, 1926 in Breckinridge, Texas. Mrs. Ashby was a graduate of Breckenridge High School. She retired as an accomplished seamstress. Mrs. Ashby will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, whom enjoying attending church and serving her Lord.
Survivors include her daughters, Janet McCarty of Liberty City, Mary Stafford of Henderson; granddaughter, Cindy Denmon of Liberty City, Great grandchildren; Kristin Rigby of Liberty City, Carla Griffith of Liberty City, Meredith of New York; four great great grandchildren, Hayden Ray Eddington of Kilgore, Emma Lee Gail Eddington of Kilgore, Savannah Rigby and Preston Rigby.
Lillie is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Wayne G. Ashby; one great grandson, Tyler Christopher Alexander; and nine brothers and sisters.
