The things that made Myrtle the happiest were her family, friends, and cooking for them. Her favorite past times were sewing, quilting and cooking. Her favorite songs were Amazing Grace, Lord Help Me Jesus, and Long Black Train. Myrtle was retired from Rich-Sea Pak.
Myrtle is survived by children, Florence Googe, Bonnie Wiggins, Wanda DeJournett (Andy), Lavon Durrance, JoAnn Stone, Juanita Hall, Clifford Durrance (Tawana), Terry Durrance (Barbara). Siblings: Martha (Cootsie) Simmons and Cecil Hall. Myrtle, also, leaves behind numerous, Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great - Great Grandchildren, and other family members.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband Lumby Durrance; father and mother Eddie and Sennie Hall. Children: Dot Phillips, Doris Partin, Jimmy Durrance, Jeanell Branson, Carolyn Durrance, and Gerry Branson. Siblings, Bernice King, Francis Beckham, LuElla Boatright, Maudine Cribb, and Johnny Hall.
A visitation for Myrtle will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and funeral service will be Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave, Brunswick, Georgia 31520. Her burial will be Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Ramah Cemetery, Horseshoe Rd., Blackshear, GA.
Serving as pallbearers are Edward King, Jeffrey Lee, Jerry King, Larry Boatright , Eddie Branson and Scott Branson.
