Born June 12, in Halmilton, Kansas to Frank R. and Caroline O. Kathary Carson.
Passed away June 12, 1924 in Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita
Dick lived in Hamilton Kansas until he joined the Navy on March 26, 1943. He was assigned to the 4th Marine Division as a Pharmacist's Mate Third Class. He was awarded the Asiatic-Presidential Unit citations, Bronze Star Citation and American Theatre Victory Medal.
After enlistment he moved to ElDorado, KS where he was a sales representative for Buckeye Corporation. After his retirement from Buckeye he moved back to Hamilton.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hamilton, VFW and American Legion in El Dorado. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Carson and a sister, Norma Jean Scholes. Survived by two sisters, Dorothy Schul of Topeka, and Nancy Philo of Corsicana, Texas
Funeral arrangement were entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home in Madison, Kansas.
