Ruby M. Stanton, Fairland, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center, Miami, after a lengthy illness. She was 69.
Stanton was born Feb. 4, 1932, in Fairland to Wallace and Lucy Harbough Tipton.
She lived in Fairland for two years, moving from Grants Pass, Ore.
She married Lloyd "Jack" Stanton on Sept. 23, 1955, at Antioch, Calif. He preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 1985.
Survivors include a son, Jim, of the home; two brothers, Kenneth Tipton, Sand Springs, and Wallace Tipton Jr., Hazelgreen, Ala.; two sisters, Billie Ware, Lake City, Fla., and Ruth Crosby, Miami; two grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two sisters and three brothers.
The graveside service is 2 p.m. Saturday at Hickory Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Hughes officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Adcock Funeral Home, Fairland.
