She became a member of the Nodaway Presbyterian Church at an early age and was a faithful member until moving to Villisca, where she continued to be active in the Villisca Church until her health failed.
Mrs. Agnew was a seamstress since the age of 17 and served for many people. She loved her home, church, and will be missed by many.
Funeral services were held at the Sutphen Funeral Home in Villisca, April 8, 1980 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Neal officiating. Interment was in the Nodaway Cemetery, Nodaway, Iowa.
