Roxie Lee Wardwell Arterberry, 98, died February 12, 2000. Services for Roxie Lee Wardwell Arterberry were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday February 16, at the Stufflebean Funeral Chapel, officiated by Dr. Joe Elam. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean Funeral Home.

Roxie, 98, of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2000 at Pauls Valley General Hospital. She was born July 31, 1901 in Wynnewood to James & Nancy Carolyn Boiles Wardwell. Mrs Arterberry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pauls Valley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Thomas Arterberry on December 12, 1962, a daughter, Annie Lee Ward on January 20, 1993, a granddaughter, a brother, a sister, a half-brother, a half-sister, and her parents. She is survived by one daughter, Murle Moore of Eastland, Texas, two sisters, Lela Harmon of Cushing & Quaid White of Hemet, Calif. 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren& 4 great-great-grandchildren, & a niece, Marjorie Douglas who she had lived with since 1995.
