Funeral services for Robert Walter Arterberry, a 54 year-old Madill area resident were conducted Saturday afternoon. Mr Arterberry died last Thursday afternoon, October 25, 1979, at his Madill home following a sudden illness. Thelma Hale officiated the service conducted from Watts Memorial Chapel. Music was by Bill Dunn with Johnnie Ruth Jacks as organist. Burial was in the Linn Cemetery.
Born February 24, 1925, near Madill, he lived his entire life in this area. He was married to Ruby Merritt July 14, 1951 at Madill. During his adult life he worked as a butcher & feed mill employee.
In addition to his wife of the family home here, he is survived by 2 sons, Robert Leon of Ardmore & Freddie Lee of Madill, & a grandchild.
