Adelle Charlotte Berning age 21 died at the home of her parents Mr and Mrs Conrad Berning in St Joe township at 12:15 o'clock Sunday morning. Death was due to tuberculosis. She had been employed at the Dudio Manufacturing company plant here until six weeks ago. She is survived by the parents, two brothers, Frederick and Erving, four sisters, Caroline, Florence, Emma and Laura and the grandmother Mrs Caroline Myers. The decedent was a member of the St Peters Lutheran church. The family home is located six miles northwest of the city on the St Joe Center road. Fort Wayne News-Sentinel - March 6, 1922
