Funeral services for Mrs. Alice May Bond, 82-years-old, who died early Saturday morning in the Carnegie Nursing home, were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Eakly Methodist church. Rev. Luther Skaggs, retired Methodist minister, and Rev. Glen Balch, pastor officiated. Interment was in the Eakly cemetery.

After their marriage they continued to live in Canadian county until 1902 when they moved to a farm 2 miles west of Eakly.
