Mr. Snow was born July 4, 1958, in Joplin, Missouri to LeRoy and Willis May (LaDuke) Snow. He departed this life on December 3, 2010, in Pryor at the age of 52 years and 4 months.
Michael went to school in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School with the class of 1977. Michael had lived in Pryor for about the last year; he moved here from Grove. Prior to living in Grove, Michael lived in Portales and Clovis, New Mexico. He worked for the New Mexico State Police and the Portales Police Department. While with the state police, he was Editor of the New Mexico State Police Magazine. Michael started the DARE Program for the Portales Police Department. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Michael enjoyed hunting, photograph and collecting sports memorabilia. He also liked to umpire softball and baseball games.
Michael is survived by two sons Jason Snow of Palmyra, Virginia, Nathan Snow and wife, Kerry of Clovis, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Avery, Tahari, Leiam, his mother, Willis Snow of Dallas; brothers, Wendell Snow and wife, Joan of Cedar Rapids, and Gregory Snow of Houston; sisters, Brenda Snow of Cedar Rapids and sister, Anita Sloan and husband, John of Fall River, Massachusetts; the mother of his children, Diana Snow of Clovis, New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
In lieu of other remembrances, donations can be made to the American Red Cross or a charity of one's choice in memory of Michael.
