Mrs. Cecelia Ann HARRINGTON, former Canadian resident, passed away on August 02, 1948, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. E.(Cecelia) SHEWMAKER, at Shamrock, according to word received here by Harold REED and other old friends.

Funeral Services were in Shamrock after which the body was brought to Canadian and internment was made in the local cemetery,

Mrs. HARRINGTON and her husband, the late Jack HARRINGTON, moved here from Perry, Oklahoma, many, many years ago. Mr. HARRINGTON, who was a dirt contractor for the Santa Fe in Canadian, passed away in the late twenties.

Mr. REED says Mrs. HARRINGTON would have been 85 years old on the day of her burial.

Besides Mrs. SHEWMAKER, survivors include another daughter, Mrs. W. A. (Irene) ALLEN, of Pakan, Texas; one son, John J. HARRINGTON, of Lincoln, Nebraska; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.
