CANNON
Services for F.W. "Bill" Cannon, 56, 1103 North Shore Dr., will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church.
He died at a Roswell hospital Monday; The Rev. George Myers will officiate. He will be assisted by the Rev. Ray Walther, both from First Presbyterian Church. Private internment will be held at a later date.
He was born in Los Angeles, Calif., and raised in San Marino, Calif., where he attended school and graduated from high school. He attended the University of New Mexico and graduated in 1954 with a degree in Business Administration. He moved to Carlsbad in 1964 and opened his own business. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, and the New Mexico Society of C.P.A.'s. He served in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Kay, Carlsbad; one son, Craig Cannon, El Paso, Texas; two daughters, Dr. Virginia Ruth Cannon, M.D., Birmingham, Ala., and Christine C. May, Albuquerque; one brother, James R. Cannon, La Canada, Calif.; and his mother, Ruth D. Cannon, San Marino, Calif.
West Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
