MRS. CLIFTON SHOREY; SAPONAC, OCT. 27 - Mrs. Elsie May Shorey, 24, died Tuesday night in a Lincoln hospital after a short illness. She was born in Dexter; daughter of Leander J. and Bertha McKenny Briggs. She is survived by her husband, Clifton, her parents, Leander J. Briggs of Hartford, Conn., and Mrs. Bertha Briggs of Burlington; two sons, Maurice and Roger: one daughter, Judith; one sister, Beverly Briggs and two brothers, Francis and Wayne Briggs, all of Burlington. Funeral services will be held in the Burlington Congregational church, Friday at 2 p.m., the Rev Hugh A. Gillis officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Repose cemetery, Burlington.
