Born in Annapolis, November 20, 1808. Son of William Archable Tuck and Cave Williams (Mulliken) Tuck. Attended St. John's College, Annapolis, M.A. 1827. Studied law. Married Margaret Sprigg Bowie Chew; children: Maria Louisa Chew, Somerville Pinkney Tuck, Philemon Halam Tuck, Francis Holland (d. infancy.). Resided on West Street, Annapolis, Anne Arundel County. Died in Annapolis on March 17, 1884. Cause of death erysipelas
