Moved from St. James Church Cemtery Feb. 16 1879
Died "In this town, on Monday last, after a brief illness, Mrs Jane McLaurin, consort of Mr Neill McLaurin, aged 52 years. - She was a meek and quiet lady, modest and unobtrusive in her manners and habits, but sincere and true-hearted. It may truly be said of her that she "looked well to the ways of her household," and that she "commanded her children and her household after her." For many years she had been a consistent and exemplary member of the Presbyterian Church, and though her death was unexpected, she could stay her heart with full confidence upon the rock of salvation.--Com."
