Dunbar, OK — Services for Dorothy Mae Willis, 82, of the Dunbar Community will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2010, at Nazarene Baptist Church, Dunbar, with Rev. Eugene Bellard officiating. Interment will be in the Dunbar Cemetery under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta, Okla.
Ms. Willis was born January 30, 1928, in the Dunbar Community, the daughter of Edwin and Mable Anderson Willis. She passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010, in Mercy Memorial Health Center, Ardmore, Okla.
A homemaker, Ms. Willis had been a resident of Love County all of her life. She took care of her parents and was very faithful to her church, Nazarene Baptist. While a resident of Lake Country Nursing Center, Ms. Willis enjoyed participating in the activities, especially church services and bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Leroy Anderson, Edwin Willis Jr., Herbert Willis and Wesley Willis; and two sisters, Kathleen Jones and Lillie Douglas.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James and Neva Coleman of Marietta; a brother, Jethro Willis of Spencer, Okla.; four granddaughters, Shashan, Demetria, Jamie and Jakellya; and seven great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be nephews, and Mission Sisters and Christy Gaines will assist as flower girls.
Honorary bearers will be Deacons of Nazarene Baptist Church, Dr. Tom O'Connor and Dr. Rex Stockard.
