Mrs. Mary Louise Green Parisien, 76, of 586 Barbour Street, North Adams, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Sweetbrook Care Center while surrounded by her family after a brief illness.

She was born in Williamstown on May 30, 1934, daughter of Earl L. and Mary Donovan Green. She graduated from Williamstown High School with the class of 1952. Mary worked at Sprague Electric for about three years.

Following her marriage, she was a devoted homemaker for her family. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church. She was a member of the Greylock Community Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Frank R. Stiles Post #125 American Legion. Mary loved gardening, bowling and bird-watching. She was an active member of the Class of '52 monthly reunions and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics and New England Patriots sports teams.

She was the widow of Lorne Charles Parisien, who died April 12, 2008. They were married on June 12, 1954 in St. Patrick's Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Bullett of North Adams; Michele Ingraham, and her husband, Michael, of Elbert, Colorado; and Renee Royal, and her husband, Allan, of North Adams; one son, James M. Parisien and his wife, Mary Beth, of North Adams; six grandchildren; Brittany Bullett, Jeremy Bullett, Jason Ingraham, Timothy Ingraham, Sarah Royal, and Gregory Royal; five great-grandchildren, Brendan Ingraham, Kailyn Ingraham, Wesley Ingraham, Kieren Ingraham, and Terrell Bullett; one sister, Helen Lafave of Lenox; two brothers, Earl L. Green Jr. of Boyce, VA and William Green; nieces and nephews. Two sisters; and two brothers are deceased including Myrtle O'Hare, Elizabeth Diaz, Harold Green, and Francis Green.

The funeral will be held on Monday December 13, 2010 at 10:15 a.m. from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main Street, North Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.
Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours at the Funeral Home will be held on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
