Anne S. Slusser, 86, formerly of Dupont, died Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 15, 2009, at the Allied Skilled Nursing Center, Scranton. She was the widow of Albert Joseph Slusser, who passed away in 1997. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late Adam and Julia Kopec, and was a graduate of Coughlin High School. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Harding. She was preceded in death by a son, Albert. Surviving are two sons, Joseph, Tunkhannock, and Edward, Suscon; as well as six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Harding. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Shavertown. There will be no public calling hours. The Lokuta-Zawacki Funeral Home, 200 Wyoming Ave., Dupont, is in charge of arrangements.
