1st - Adair Morey McKoy on 27 Apr 1940 at Emmanuel Protestant Episcopal Church in Chestertown MD.
2nd - Grant Leroy Swartz on 14 Feb 1965.
SUMTER — Priscilla Claggett Grainger McKoy Swartz, 91, died Friday, December 7, 2007, in Covenant Place.
Born in Wilmington, N.C., she was the daughter of the late John Victor Grainger, Jr. and Helen Kenly Grainger.
Mrs. Swartz was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter, a member of the Women of the Church and where she retired as church secretary. She was a volunteer with hospice.
She was married first to the late Adair M. McKoy, Jr. and then to the late Lt. Col. Grant L. Swartz.
Surviving are three sons, Adair McKoy and wife, Boone, of Edisto Island, S.C., Peter McKoy and wife, Peggy, of Boykin, S.C., and Grainger McKoy and wife, Floride, of Stateburg, S.C.; three step-children, Brooks Swartz of California, Barbara Jackson of Graham, N.C., and Christopher Swartz of Atlanta, Ga.; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; a beloved friend, Dorothy Bradley of Sumter.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter with the Rev. Dr. John M. Barr and the Rev. Hamilton Smith officiating.
Burial will be held at 12 noon Tuesday in Oakdale Cemetery in Wilmington, N.C.
The family will receive friends following the service at the Parish Life Center at Holy Comforter.
