Randy J. Ide, 53, of Pittston Township, passed away Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. Born in Kingston on September 7, 1956, he was a son of the late Donald W. and Alberta M. Kasmere Ide. He was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School. Randy was employed for Healey Welding for over 20 years. Surviving are his wife for 22 years Sharon (Healey) Ide; son Randy J. Ide II and his wife, Lisa, Shavertown; step-son Jason Healey and Aunie Frisch, Scranton; brother Ricky Ide, Exeter Township; sisters Dori Newberry, Florida; Stacey Patton, Duryea; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Friday at the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 802 Susquehanna Ave., West Pittston. Friends may call Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.
