Thelma A. Miles, departed this life January 25, 1997 at the age of 81. She was born on March 11, 1915 to the late Emma J. and Richard O. Bradby of Charles City, Virginia. She was married to the late William M. Miles Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory 1 daughter: Mildred M. Christian; 3 sons: Larry O., Vernon L., and William O.Miles all of Charles City, VA; 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Charlesanna Christain and Rae Bradby; 1 brother: Stanley Bradby; 2 daughter-in-laws: Francine and Quincy; 6 sister-n-laws; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Along with her parents, her daughter Vivian A., her sister Marian Reeves and brother Adolph Bradby preceded her in death.

In tears we saw you sinking
And watched you fade away
