Arthur Dean Echler, 40, of Kimbel, Tenn., died March 18 at 4:00 p.m. in Erlanger Hospital at Chattanooga, Tenn. He had been ill for several months.
Born April 5, 1935, in Montpelier, Ohio, he was the son of Paul and Virginia Davis Echler. In 1954 he married Dorothy Joan Hildebrandt of Delphi, who survives.
Mr. Echler was a 1953 graduate of Delphi High School. He was employed as a plant manager in Jasper, Tenn.
Other survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Bruce Kauffman of Shelbyville, Marilyn, Kaye and Sue at home; three sisters, Mrs. Joan Memmer of Lafayette, Elsie Jenkins and Nancy Clark of Monticello.
Services were Sunday at Murphy Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Burial was in Ashbury Cemetery in Morristown.
