Doris L. White , 70, died Sept. 5, 1996.
A life resident of the Akron area, she was a member of Columbia United Church of Christ, Twinbrooks Garden Club in Norton, and was an avid bowler.
She was preceded in death by grandson, Michael, brother, George Cottingham, and sister, Jean Cottingham. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Robert; three children; five grandchildren; one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services Monday, 10 a.m., at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, Rev. Ralph L. Young officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 7 to 9 p.m., and one hour prior to service. Donations may be made to Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Fairlawn 44333.
