Maxine (Zigler) Repp

Maxine (Zigler) Repp, 69, died Sunday, March 21, 1999, at her residence in Edinburgh.

She was born Oct. 15, 1929, in Bartholomew County. Her parents were Cecil J. and Bernice L. (Knapp) Zigler. She married Donald W. Repp on June 3, 1949. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Wayne D. Repp of Edinburgh and John A. Repp of Hope; one daughter, Nancy K. Meyer; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Zigler.

She was employed for 36 years at Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp., retiring in 1998 as food service coordinator.

She was a lifelong member of Old Union United Church of Christ in Edinburgh and its Ladies Aid, and she served as trustee and historian of the church.

The Revs. Ross Wallace and Wayne Bozell will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Old Union United Church of Christ in Edinburgh. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to time of service Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Old Union Cemetery in Edinburgh.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

EDINBURGH -- Maxine Repp, 69, of Edinburgh died at 4:25 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 1999, at her home.

She retired Oct. 15 from Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. where she had worked for 36 years and was food service coordinator.

She was a lifelong member of Old Union United Church of Christ where she was a member of Christ Ladies Guild and was a trustee and church historian.

Funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Old Union United Church of Christ with the Revs. Ross Wallace and Wayne Bozell officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Old Union Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Old Union United Church of Christ.

Funeral for Maxine Repp, 69, of Edinburgh was conducted Wednesday at Old Union United Church of Christ with the Revs. Ross Wallace and Wayne Bozell officiating. Wilma Oaks was organist.

Burial was at Old Union Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dave Chrisman, Neil Coy, John Pence, Wayne Neville, Garnett Winchester and Bob Smith.

Mrs. Repp died Sunday, March 21, 1999, at her home.

Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
