C. Gerald Hill, 87, Mohnton, died on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center in West Reading.
He was the widower of Mildred M. (Mayer) Hill, who died on Aug. 24, 2010.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Clarence and Emma (Wentzel) Hill.
Mr. Hill was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.
He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mohnton.
Surviving are two nephews, Kenneth A. Mayer, Mohnton; and David W. Horning, Middleport, Ohio; and one niece, Kathryn E. Lilac, Mohnton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium Inc., 21 Chestnut St., Mohnton, with Pastor James F. Price officiating. A viewing will be held on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville.
