Frederick Freelewick served as a 2nd Lieutenant in Company E of the 120th New York Volunteer Infantry Regiment in the American Civil War.

He was killed on July 2, 1863, the second day of the Battle of Gettysburg.

He was from Kingston, New York, and he was 31 years of age at the time of his enlistment.
