— Funeral services for David Gundle, 50, of Memphis, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at Southeast Christian Church, 1309 Charlestown-New Albany Road, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Borden. He died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010.
He was an advanced EMT for Clark County EMS, and a member of Southeast Christian Church. David enjoyed Nascar, fishing, and Colts football.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Gundle, of Memphis; sons, Cody Gundle, Brady Gundle and Parker Wooden, all of Memphis; daughters, Heather Gundle, Heidi Gundle and Morgan Wooden, all of Memphis; brother, Eric Gundle, of Carmel; sister, Vicki McEwen and her husband, Anthony, of Floyds Knobs; nephew, Sean McEwen; niece, Michele Thomas Lampe; and great-nephew, Braxton McEwen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Roberta Gundle, and grandparents, Robert and Thelma McKinley.
David was a passenger in a Clark County EMS ambulance enroute to a residence when the driver of the ambulance lost control and ran off the road on Hwy 160 between Henryville and Charlestown.
