Michael Norman Bollinger, 76, of Keymar, died September 16, 2015 at Lorien Assisted Living in Taneytown. Born May 6, 1939 in Medford, he was the son of the late Norman E. and Louise Warner Bollinger. He was the husband of the late Gloria Keeney Bollinger who died October 22, 2000. Michael worked for Thomas, Bennett and Hunter (TBH) as a Foreman until his retirement in 2003. He was a 1957 graduate of Westminster High School. He was a member of Sams Creek Church of the Brethren. He enjoyed farming, collecting antique farm equipment, watching sunsets and nature and mowing his grass. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Michael S. "Mick" and Rhea Bollinger of Littlestown, PA, and Randy and Maryann Gross of Taneytown; daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Larry Montgomery of Boonsboro; sisters and brothers-in-law Sharon and Jim Wherley of Hanover, PA, Geraldine Plank of Westminster, Roma and Jerry Green of New Windsor and Lisa and Earl Dibert of Bonneauville, PA; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother-in-law James Plank The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 to 5 pm and on Sunday from 1 pm until start of funeral services at 2 pm at the Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Officiating will be Rev. Paul N. Leatherman, Jr. Interment will follow in Keysville Lutheran Church Cemetery in Keymar.
