The life of Letha Victoria Gaddis Harp, 92, expired on Thursday on Aug. 12, 1993 at the Tishomingo County Hosital. Services were held at the Palestine Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Pat Howard officiating. Burial was in the Church cemetery with Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont, directing.

She was a native of Tishomingo, Co., Mississippi, born on
Oct. 29, 1900 to John Lee and Cassie Melverie Gaddis.
She was a housewife and a member of the Paden Baptist Church. She was married to Charlie Harp on Sept. 03, 1916.

Survivors include two sons, Kermit Harp, of Paden and William "June Bug" Harp of Iuka, two daughters, Edith Smith, of Iuka, and Betty James of Belmont; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great- great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents,
a son-in-law, Sidney Earl James, a infant grandson, Rickey Earl James in 1954. A brother, Malcom E. Gaddis.
