The family of David Sillings,
on West Eighth street ... have been terribly afflicted. Three members of the
family have died of typhoid fever within a week - a small son, a grown daughter
and a grown son. This (Friday) morning James Sillings, aged 29 years, with a
wife and two children, died. . . . . James Sillings will be buried Sunday
forenoon at the Edwardsville graveyard.
