WARSAW — Delmer Ray Clark, 88, rural Silver Lake, died at 8:40 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at Miller's Merry Manor here. He was born May 12, 1915, in Sterling, Colo., to Walter and Mary Lodema (Ervin) Clark. He married Margaret L. Brown on May 17, 1942, and she survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Betty) Lynch, Claypool; a brother, Harold Clark, Greensburg, Kan.; five grandchildren, Steve Lynch, Springfield, Mo., Janet Rippe, Indianola, Neb., Rob Clark, Silver Lake, Shari Clark, Claypool, and Joette Barnett, New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; and four great-grandchildren.

Two sons, Alan V. Clark and R. Ray Clark; four brothers and two sisters also preceded him in death.

A graduate of Norcatur (Kansas) High school in 1935, he was a World War II Army veteran and a retired farmer. He was a member of the Center United Methodist Church, Silver Lake, and the Silver Lake Lions Club.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester Chapel. The Rev. Don Poyser will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
