Margie M. Bennett 70, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at her home in Owatonna..

She was born June 14, 1940 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of John and Frieda (Schuldt) Bennett. Margie attended School in Owatonna, and then worked in the electronics field for EF Johnson, Itron and other electrical companies in Minneapolis. She married Richard Tollefson and the couple later divorced. Margie was a volunteer with Contact. Margie had a passion for sewing, enjoyed gardening and being outside.

Margie is survived by her children Scott (Carol) Tollefson of Waseca, Marc (Amy) Bennett of Philadelphia, Shelly Tollefson of Eagan, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Meriden on Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM . Funeral services will be held Friday December 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Reverend Paul Nelson officiating. Interment will be in the Deerfield German Lutheran Cemetery. Michaelson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
