Funeral rites for Mrs. Eunice Helen Magers, 50, of Murchison, who died at a local hospital Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock after a one year illness were held Friday at 2 p.m. from the First Methodist Church in Murchison.
Officiating minister was Rev. Joe Bennett Stuart of Brownsboro. Interment was in the Red Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jack Horton, Elbert Dearen, Raymond Rusk, Jim Ellis, Earl Newcomb and Hubert Owens.
She is survived by her widower, Raymond Magers; and one son, Raymond Magers Jr., both of Murchison; one brother, Daniel B. Scott of Murchison; four sisters, Mrs. A. Horton of Brownsboro, Mrs. A.W. Dearen of Sterling City, Mrs. Henry Rusk of Athens, and Mrs. Annie E. Horton of Dallas, and one grandson.
Mrs. Magers was born in Murchison and had lived there all her life.
She was a member of the Methodist Church in Murchison.
The Hassell-Foster Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
