Juanita L. Green, 58, of 604 Wiley Ave., Franklin, died Friday, May 11, 2001, at her residence. Born March 11, 1943, in Cranberry, she was a daughter of Laverne E. "Red" and Ruth Katherine Delaney Alger.

She was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School, and worked at Franklin Hospital. She attended Community Chapel where she taught Wednesday Night Bible Study and also attended Potter's House. She enjoyed flower gardening and decorating and was known for her kindness to others.

She married Gordon Green, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two brothers, Richard E. Alger of Mercer and Paul K. Alger of Franklin; several nieces and nephews; and five great-nieces and great-nephews. Deceased are her parents; husband; and a son, David Samuel Green.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald C. Bole, hospice minister, officiating. Interment will be in Cooperstown Cemetery.
