Mrs. Patience HOLT, 86, died Sunday afternoon, July 14, 1963, in Hemphill County Memorial Hospital. She was born November 21, 1876 in Yadkinville, North Carolina.
Funeral rites were at the First Baptist Church, with the pastor, the Rev. Joe Vernon, officiating. Burial was in the Canadian Cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dolly WATSON of Canadian; five sons, Buzz of Canadian; Irvin of San Gabriel, California; Roy of Las Vegas, Nevada; Levi of Wichita Falls and David of Amarillo; a brother, J. J. CAUDLE of Canadian; a sister, Mrs. Margaret TABLEMAN of Riverside, California; thirty-nine grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
