Patsie Ann Nelson Dodd "Granny", 76, of Wichita Falls, Texas went to be with her father in heaven on Monday, December 06, 2010.
The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Pursley, officiating. Interment will follow at Vera Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Patsie was born on May 9, 1934 in Knox City, Texas to the late Cleo and W.A. "Shortie" Nelson. She was employed with Archer City Bank for many years, and later, worked for Whites Home Office in the personnel department for many years.
She is survived by her two sons, Dana Alan Dodd and wife Laura of Orange, Massachusetts, and Kevin Nelson Dodd and wife Carol; her daughter, Sheri Rene Yonts and husband David all of Wichita Falls; three brothers, Travis Nelson of Archer City, Ronnie Nelson and wife Debbie of Madisonville, and Lee Nelson of Brazoria; a sister, Glenda Nicklas and husband Will; seven grandchildren, Keith Nelson Cook, Amanda Gartman, Jessica Sinclair, Kevin Dodd, Katie Dodd, Chase Yonts, and Austin Yonts; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
