Sonja Kay Beam, 68 of Irving passed away December 6, 2010 in Irving. She was born on April 28, 1942 in Cisco, Texas. She is survived by husband of 47 years Art Beam of Irving; daughters Janna Weaver and husband Glenn of Southlake; Brenda Hammonds and husband Paul of Grand Prairie; Lori Anne Fitzgerald and husband Mike of Keller; 5 grandchildren, Megan, Jarrod, Connor, Aidan and Kaylyn; sister Stacey Williamson and husband Dave; and brother Rick Thackerson and Judy. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2010 at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.
