Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Gallant Funeral Home in Hazel Green, Ala., for Curtis (Buddy) Hughey of Huntsville, Ala., who died Sunday (June 16, 1991) in the U.A. B. Hospital in Birmingham, Ala. He was 52.
The Rev. Roy Wood officiated and burial was in Charity Cemetery, Madison Co., Ala.
Mr.Hughey was a native of Madison Co, Ala., son of the late Austin Mitchell and Mary Claude Curtis Hughey. He was a graduate of Hazel Green High School, was a Mason and a member of Charity Baptist Church.
He was a retired fireman for the city of Huntsville Fire Dept.
He is survived by a daughter, Gloria Grey and a son, Mark Shey Hughey both of Huntsville and a brother, Jerome Hughey of Bay Springs, Miss.
