Mrs. Cynthia Patton died at the home of her son, J. C. Patton, in this city, Oct 14th, aged 90 years, 8 months and 10 days. She was born in Wayne co, KY, and came to MO with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Baker, in 1830, locating in Randolph co. She was married to Robert Patton, who preceded her to the grave several years ago, in about 1831, to whom were born 4 boys and 3 girls. three survive her - J. C. Patton of this city, J. J. Patton of near Huntsville and Mrs. J. D. Hunter of Morgan co, MO. Burial at Ft. Henry graveyard.
