SOUDERTON, Pa. -- Hilda B. Keller died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007 in Abington (Pa.) Memorial Hospital. She was 83.

Born Jan. 4, 1924 in Tohickon, Pa., she was the daughter of Harry and Mable Bleam Ketterer.

Formerly of Keller's Boat Landing, Upper Black Eddy, Pa., Mrs. Keller last worked for Paul Evan's Studio in Plumsteadville, Pa. Prior to that she had worked as a seamstress for Fretz Pants Factory, Bedminster, Pa.

She was an active member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Ferndale, Pa.

Her hobby was sewing quilts.

A son, Thomas, died in 2002. Her daughter-in-law Susan Keller; a sister, Ethel Lines; and brothers Clarence, Lloyd, Floyd, Stanley, Raymond, Ralph and Norman Ketterer also died earlier.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, H. Lloyd Keller; three sons, Ronald and his wife Carol of Danielsville, Pa., John and his companion, Barbara Hovey, of Milford; Donald and his wife, Norma Jean, of Riegelsville, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, George, Arthur and Walter Ketterer, all of Perkasie, Pa., and Alfred Ketterer of Carollton, Texas.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Ferndale. Interment is in the Nockamixon Union Cemetery, Ferndale.

Calling hours were set for yesterday from 7 to 9 p.m. and today after 10 a.m., both at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church's building fund, Box 67, Ferndale, PA 18921.

Arrangements are under the direction of Robert V. Snyder Funeral Home, Riegelsville, Pa.
