She was the daughter of Samuel Fry and Anna Christina [Rank] Fry. Along with her husband she had three brothers serve in the Civil War.

MRS. JOSEPH BARR DIES OF OLD AGE
Mrs. Joseph barr, 76, died at her home in Tuscarawas Sunday morning at 8 o'clock. Her death was due to heart trouble and old age. She is survived by one son and four daughters. Mrs Barr was a very strong member of the Methodist church of Tuscarawas.
The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and internment will be made in the Lutheran Cemetery.
