Mrs. Cleo Douglas Zipperer died Sept. 7 at home.
She was born in Bloomingdale. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 660.
SURVIVORS: her husband, Carlin S. Zipperer of Savannah; two sons, Carlin S. Zipperer III of Tybee Island and John D. Zipperer of Guyton; three daughters, Arlene Zipperer of Savannah, Frances Z. Davenport of Tybee Island and Carol Z. Darsey of Colonel's Island; two sisters, Elizabeth D. Jaudon and Elsie D. Hall, both of Port Wentworth; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 3 p.m. Saturday in Douglas Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
