Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Mrs. W. G. Shackelford, 77-year-old Irisburg resident, at the Church Street home of her only surviving son, Dr. J. M. Shackelford died at her home in Boxwood Wednesday night, heart failure being the cause of death.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James Richardson of Boxwood and a son, Dr. Shackelford.
Interment in Oakwood cemetery.

Mrs. W. G. Shackelford was Martha Ann "Pattie" Richardson who md. 1868, William George Shackelford.
