Funeral services for Harry A. Mann, 65, of 207 E .13th will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Apfel-Geddes Funeral Home.
Rev. L. Paul Bowling will officiate with burial in Westlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Mann died Thursday at a local hospital following a lingering illness.
He was born Dec. 5, 1909, at Cairo, the son of Norton and Nina Moriarty Mann. When he was a small child the family moved to Grand Island where he received his education.
He was employed on farms in Hall county until he entered the armed services in 1940. After his discharge in 1945 he returned to Grand Island and was employed at ConAgra Mills until his retirement in 1963 because of disability.
On July 17, 1950, he married Ines Warren.
He was a member of the Eagles and of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow; one son, David of Grand Island; one grandchild; seven brothers, Cecil of Vancouver, Wash., Francis of Trenton, Mo., Kenneth of Cave Junction, Ore., William of Scio, Ore., Louis of Miami, FL., and Roy and John of Albany, Ore.; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Christensen of Grand Island; Mrs. Eva Budd of Caldwell, Ore., and Mrs. Margaret McDonald of Albany, Ore.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers, a sister and his parents.
