Earl Charles Ginn, 98, of West Lafayette, died at 7:45 p.m. June 5, 2000, at Westminster Village.
Born March 1, 1902, in Carroll County, he was the son of William and Jennie Montgomery Ginn.
He married Mary Roberta Anderson in Delphi on July 6, 1931, She preceded him in death on July 4, 1970. His second marriage was to Amelia Hunt, who preceded him in death on May 17, 1982. His third marriage was to Naomi Horn Anderson, who preceded him in death on Sept. 12, 1986.
Mr. Ginn attended Purdue University and The City College of Detroit.
He was a retired professional engineer and executive vice president of Continental Motors Corp. in Muskegon, Mich. He held a number of patents.
He was a member of Associate Presbyterian Church, the Society of Professional Engineers, and the National Fire Protection Association.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Ginn of Pocono Summitt, Pa., and Howard Ginn of Camp Verde, Ariz.; a daughter, Margaret Yeaman of Glen Rose, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son and one brother.
Services were Friday at Davidson Funeral Home with Rev. Ellis Gasser officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Run Cemetery, rural Delphi.
