Married Goldie Louise Beckemeyer on December 4, 1927 in the White Creek Lutheran Church, Bartholomew County, Indiana, and they were the parents of Robert Tiemeyer, Dorothy Laverne (Tiemeyer) Manley, Lawrence A. Tiemeyer, and Donald Edward Tiemeyer.

Albert John Henry Tiemeyer, 95, of Seymour, formerly of the Whitecreek area of Jackson County, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at Lutheran Community Home in Seymour.

A member of St. John's Lutheran Church at Whitecreek, Mr. Tiemeyer was a retired farmer and beekeeper and a former part-time employee of Morgan Packing Co.

Funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church at Whitecreek with the Rev. Karl Rein officiating. Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed and Jewell Chapel on 25th Street, and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church at Whitecreek or the Lutheran Hour.

Mr. Tiemeyer was born in Jackson County July 18, 1904, the son of John and Anna Dinkleman Tiemeyer. He married Goldie Louise Beckemeyer Dec. 4, 1927, at Whitecreek. She died Dec. 14, 1980.

Survivors include a son, Lawrence Tiemeyer of Columbus; a daughter, Dorothy Laverne Manley of Columbus; grandchildren Michael Tiemeyer, David and Robert Dean Manley, Judy Brown and Joyce Sipes, all of Columbus; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by sons, Donald Edward and Robert Tiemeyer; a granddaughter, Carol Ann Manley; three brothers; and six sisters.
