OBITUARY
Funeral services for George Alexander COCKRELL, 91, were held in the Central Baptist Church, with burial in Canadian Cemetery directed by Stickley Funeral Home.
Mr. COCKRELL, a retired farmer and longtime resident of Canadian, died Friday in the Abraham Memorial Home.
Survivors are three sons, George, Jr. of Atcheson, Kansas; Jack of Denver, Colorado and Gene of Canadian; six daughters, Mrs. Oleta ASHLEY of San Jacinto, California; Mrs. Fern HILBURNER of Shamrock; Mrs. Ozell SCARBROUGH of Mountainair, New Mexico; Mrs. Maxine JOHNSON, Mrs. Katherine KENT and Mrs. Burl MASSEY, all of Canadian; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
