Her spouse, Theodor Benz died in 1890 and was initially buried in Graceland cemetery. After Graceland cemetery was closed, he was disinterred and moved in 1894 to Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore. Unfortunately, his children were unable to locate where their mother's remains were at that time and so they were not moved.
According to Mr. Paul E. Sluby who has researched the graves of Washington, DC, there is evidence that most, if not all the burials in Graceland cemetery were eventually moved to Woodlawn cemetery. However, there is no specific mention of Anna Benz. Therefore, I believe she is most appropriately recorded as buried in Graceland cemetery.
