When she died in 1922, she was originally interred in a family cemetery called the Beard Cemetery. It was one of the 20 cemeteries that were affected by the construction of Buford Dam at Lake Lanier. The Army Corps of Engineers contacted the family to see if they wanted their love one to be reinterred or just left there to be flooded. Her family chose re-interment and she was buried in the Shoal Creek Cemetery in 1957. (Thanks to Lynn Tuner #47129961)
