D.H. (Dick) Fisher sang, "Abide With Me" and "In the Garden". Esther (Mrs. Orville) Pote played the organ accompaniment and she also played the prelude and postlude for the service.
Casket bearers were Dan Lamson, George Morgan, Glen Stiles, Pearce Kuykendall, Bob Banta, Darrell Stiles and John Henry.
Mrs. Stiles, daughter of the late Robert and Frances Smyrl, was born July 26, 1898 at Jackson, Minnesota. She came with her parents to Oklahoma as a small child, settling in the Free Silver area where she grew up. She was married to Lee Stiles Feb. 10, 1918 at Perkins, Oklahoma. The couple lived on the family homes west of Cushing on Highway 33 for the past 59 years.
Mrs. Stiles was a member of the First Christian Church.
Relatives who survive include her husband, Lee Stiles of the home, three sons, Lee Ray Stiles, Cushing, Bob Stiles of Marysville, Washington; Don Stiles of Clarksdale, Missouri, two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Lamson of Ponca City; Mrs. Mary Kendrick, Cushing; one brother, Gabe Smyrl, Edmond,; two sisters, Lula Atkinson and Clara Patterson, both of Edmond; sixteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by one son Dean G. Stiles.
